The University of California, Berkeley, solicits applications for a new Postdoctoral Research Fellowship\Project Coordinator in the Department of Psychology, Sleep and Psychological Disorders Laboratory .
Job Responsibilities:
Two-year research postdoctoral associate (with potential for extending the appointment) to begin in January 2009. The postdoctoral associate will have primary responsibility for the overall smooth functioning and coordination of NIMH funded studies examining the treatment of sleep disturbance in insomnia patients and in patients with comorbid psychiatric disorders. Primary roles of the fellow will include (a) recruiting and retaining participants, (b) assisting participants experiencing obstacles to continued participation, (c) scheduling participant appointments, (d) conducting CBT-I (which may involve offering evening appointments), (e) providing therapy training and supervision, (f) participating in training, scheduling, and monitoring of graduate and undergraduate research assistants, (g) maintaining quality control and achieving recruitment milestones, (h) protocol and data management, (i) manuscript preparation, and (j) grant writing.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology or equivalent.
Salary: $40K plus benefits.
